Our love of tollers started in August 1981 when an article about these little red hunters was published in Sports Afield. Our first toller joined us in 1986 and her name was Harbourlights Autumn Dawn (Nova). She was an expert in tolling and led to many years of memorible hunts. Following Nova was her son, Autumn Dawns Spring Sparkler (Sparky). After Sparky came Cedar Foggs Sugar Pie Honey Bunch (Sugar). The next in line was Cayugas Raspberry Rhapsody (Ruby), the foundered of our current line and the one that got us into the show ring. Presently, we have two tollers, Autumn Dawns Little Water Sprite (Nixie) and her daughter Autumn Dawns Gift from Carol (Brandy). We have been breeding on and off since 1990 and currently are in our eighth year with the current line.
At Autumndawntollers.com, we believe in responsible breeding practices that prioritize the health and well-being of our dogs. We are committed to producing happy and healthy Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever puppies that will make great a family edition as well as show dogs and hunting dogs for any family or individuals.
Brandy is expecting her first litter in March 2025
Nikie is retired from breeding and the grandmother of the upcoming litter.
Ruby was the foundation of our current line of Tollers.
